We have extensive experience of both traditional FR4 type PCB materials and the Metal Core PCB (IMS) materials which are increasingly used as part of thermal management solutions in LED lighting applications. Our prototyping service can include a one-off MCPCB manufacturing capability for rapid turnaround testing (usually a few days).
Additionally we are able to produce pilot quantities of IMS based LED products in a few weeks. For applications that could use FR4 or MCPCB we can offer extensive design expertise in the use of thermal vias as a cooling method backed up with measurement facilities to verify thermal performance (LED junction temperature measurement). |
